Meet Anja
Anja Khoma speaks from both sides of healing. As a survivor of SRA and trafficking, she knows what it means to need safety, patience and people who stay. Today she offers that same steady presence to others as a licensed mental health counselor, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner and ordained minister.
She serves as Associate Director of Helping Captives, a Christian nonprofit in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho that walks alongside survivors of sex trafficking toward freedom, healing and restoration.
Her talks bring together lived experience, clinical understanding and faith in Jesus' power to redeem. She speaks honestly without dwelling on harm. Audiences leave with a clearer picture of how trauma shapes a person, practical ways to respond with dignity, and grounded hope that restoration is possible.
